3 Derm Picks To Get During Three Ships Beauty Sale
We love Three Ships Beauty because it makes gorgeous plant-and-mineral-based beauty products that actually work. Plus, all of the brand’s packaging is recyclable, and the formulas use upcycled beauty ingredients (think: willow bark extract from lumber mills) whenever possible.
Now through Memorial Day Weekend, you can shop Three Ships Beauty on sale. Buy two products to get 20 percent off or buy three or more to get 25 percent off. To help you figure out where to start, we had Pasadena, California-based board-certified dermatologist Ivy Lee, MD, take a look at the brand and pick the products she thinks look best based on their active ingredients. Shop her choices below.
3 items to get during this Three Ships Beauty sale
Three Ships Refresh Papaya + Salicylic Acid Cleanser — $17.00
Originally $22, now $17 if you buy three or more items
“This is a hydrating and gentle exfoliative cleanser with salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid,” says Dr. Lee. “The salicylic acid helps clear out the pores in acne-prone skin and it is gentle enough for routine exfoliation in normal skin.” The salicylic acid is derived from Aspen bark extract, and the formula also includes hydrating glycerin.
Three Ships Dream Bio-Retinol + Shorea Butter Night Cream — $27.00
Originally $35, now $27 if you buy three or more items
“Retinol is a powerful anti-aging ingredient that helps improve skin tone, reduces discoloration, and helps stimulate collagen,” says Dr. Lee. “The gentle moisturizing ingredients of shea butter and squalene improve the tolerability of the retinol which, when used alone, can be irritating. The combination of these ingredients should offer a nice rejuvenating and moisturizing night cream that is suitable for daily use.”
